The Planters Group have been stockists of Meadow View Stones decorative aggregates and paving for many years at their Tamworth, Bretby and Garden King stores. The long-standing relationship between Meadow View Stone and the Planters group has seen the group outperform most Centre’s in the sales of hard landscaping products whilst achieving annual sales increases. Following their acquisition of Brookfields Garden Centre, Nottingham the Meadow View Stone team were tasked with designing and installing a new hard landscaping sales area. With over 40 pallets of stock to be merchandised and a sequence of display gardens to build and theme, the in-house merchandising team successfully delivered the brief with a seamless set up process.

The finished area received very positive feedback from both staff and customers due to its inspirational garden displays which correlated products to a common theme, be it a design trend, colour theme or specific project. These inspiring graphics and display gardens have seen customers claiming “I never thought of using stepping stones to create a pathway, I am definitely going to recreate that in the spring.” Staff were equally happy with the ample space for manoeuvring pallets and were keen to praise the setup, the colourful, bright, and easy to read POS signage and the transformation it had delivered to the entrance to the Centre, which couldn’t fail to impress customers.
